Cross Border Healthcare and Patient Mobility (National Contact Point)
The Directive on Cross Border Healthcare and Patient Mobility (Directive 2011/24 EU) will be in forced on the 25th of October 2013.
The Directive requires that all member states of the European Union plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway introduces National Contact Points.
The National Contact Points shall supply patients with “relevant information” on patients rights related to receiving healthcare treatment in Denmark.
